Why has Andrei Ribakou set a world record and not Yong Lu who won the gold medal ?

Chinese athlete Yong Lu won with a total of 394 kg and so did Andrei Ribakou; but I don’t understand why Ribakou is 2nd and why has he set a world record and not Yong Lu. How can you explain that ?

Did he lift the 394kg first? i.e. Each person lifts in turn, if Ribakou was 1st lifter and Lu was second lifter Ribakou achieved the world record first. Lu needs to lift more to get his name on the world record.

This has the results. Notice Lu had much higher clean and jerk weight whether that makes a difference. Could be the competer’s weight diference as below. Sorry I didn’t help straight away.
