Could Brett Favre start for any other team in the NFL?
Hypothetically, if for some reason the coaching staff decided to p*ss off the entire state of Wisconsin and traded Brett…would he survive on another team? Or would the magic be gone like Jerry Rice in Denver or Joe Montana in KC?
Simply put, is Brett’s mistique and swagger partly from his godlike status in Green Bay?

He could probably start, but let’s not forget that the guy is pushing 40, and he’s not as consistent as he was. And before cheeseheads start hating on me, I actually AM a Packer fan, and seeing his decline over the past few years has been painful to watch.
Let’s face it, he was mollycoddled towards the end of the Sherman era, and I can only hope that Mike McCarthy can re-ignite his competitive fire for whatever time he has left.
But back to the question. He could probably start for a team in need of a quarterback with an outstanding defense and rest of offense in place, and who is ready to win the Superbowl now (and let’s face it, it’s a long shot for the Pack, no matter how much Ted Thompson tries to convince people otherwise).
He would just need to have the coaching staff to motivate him fully, and needs a full season of not making stupid mistakes, and at least one go-to WR who he can count on to move the chains on 3rd-and-medium to long.
