Vintage John
New to vintage jazz: If I like John Coltrane’s “OM”, what else do you think I might like? or John Cage?
I like “OM”, because it seems to exorcise all the demons out of me, and it always leaves me renewed, invigorated and inspired to be peaceful and to create (I write, compose, paint, etc.).
I’d be open to other (non-jazz) music as well, such as John Cage, etc. I don’t know much about real, vintage jazz or the experimentalists, so feel free to suggest whatever seems appropriate.
What would be some musicians and pieces for me to check out?
