is 7.62x54R Bulgarian Light Ball FMJ ammo any good for a m91/30 any good for my mosin nagant ?
its about 85 for 440..is it any good will it blow up in my face?? i dont want to die shooting a vintage collectable??? help me
It’ll work. I have 3 tins of the stuff. 2 I haven’t opened. What I have used I have yet to have a FTF or any malfunction. Easiest stuff to get right now. But what you can get changes all the time. Last year it was bulgarian heavy ball and russian light ball, now its bulgarian light ball.
If the receiver explodes thats a headspace issue with the gun, not the ammo. May get an occasional split casing. I’ve never found one.
Just be sure to clean the barrel with windex or hot water after you use the stuff. It’s corrosive. Hoppes #9 and some other solvents will remove the salts but they usually say they will on the bottle. If not run some windex patches or pour hot tap water down the barrel. Then just dry and clean like you normally would.
