How to scan multiple pages to one pdf file?

When I try to scan multiple pages to one pdf file, only the first page scanned is in view. I have to scan each page separately, save, and attach individually. I want recipients to be able to open one attachment and scroll down to view all of the documents I am sending. I use adobe reader, and I have a Kodak scanner/printer. Kodak was not able to give me a solution. Do I have to purchase software or upgrade adobe in order the scan multiple pages to one file?

I recommend this software that’s linked as my source, which provides tools to merge pdf files or split them up, rearrange, etc.

I use it at work all the time to change pdf’s to jpegs or vice versa for proofs to send to clients. Best part is it’s free!
