When Does The TTC Change To The New Tokens???

When dinning out in TO I always take the TTC! I heard on the news the other night that they are going to be changing to a new token becaues the old ones are too easy to reproduce. I also heard that they are getting a mint company in the USA of all places to produce it for them! Likes there no place here in Canada that can do that kind of work!!! Go figure!!! Hello from Toronto:
The old tokens are good until Dec.31st 2006. If you like you can chage them to the new tokens. Just go to any subway station and change them at the booth.
As of Jan.1st 2007 the old tokens are no longer valid.
