Social Studies Egypt Project?
i hav 2 weeks to finish it. it has 2 be 3D. i am making a head of either the queen or king tut.
Which ones better? what should i make it out of? how am i supposed to use that to make it? am in 6th grade, hopewell e. i need help and webs to learn how to make it.
When I was a kid, we made things in school out of papieir mache (also called paper mache).
First, you need to get some thin, stiff(ish) wire and form a head. Bear in mind that Egyptian heads were a fairly distinct shape, anthropologically speaking, so you might want to avoid using a foam head used for ladies wigs. Better to look up some measurements in an anthropology reference book (ask your local library, or university if you have one near.
You also could use clay, but it will be pretty heavy to carry.
Personally, I am not superstitious, but I would avoid King Tut’s head as there is always that dreaded King Tut’s curse hanging around out there.
