Tonopah Nevada

Apartments in Nevada…(Tonapah, NV)?

I love the state of Nevada and I plan on moving in about 4 months from the Texas Gulf Coast. There is a town in particular which i think will suit me best…its called Tonopah. How much do apartments typically run for in a small rural town in Nevada? There are four apartment complexes in the town. The reason im moving is mainly because I feel like Nevada is a mysterious place, I love Area 51..im an alien enthusiast, and I love the desert….

I am sure it will either be dirt cheap or expensive. They have added a few in the last few years that look alright appearance wise. I have never been in them. They have cheap houses–maybe even cheaper than getting an apartment. I lived in tonapah when I was in kindergarten and have been there millions of times over the last few years with sports teams from my school in Gabbs Nevada, roughly an hour away if you take the dirt road. There isn’t much job wise there and can be a few hour drive for shopping and such. Mostly clothes shopping would be a problem (or at least mine! as I am a girl!) Nevada is a great place to live–I was born and raised there and now live in SC. BIG change for me but I think it will be even more drastic moving there. I am guessing you probably have searched around for jobs and such (if you need one). The mine in Gabbs is a magnesium mine and they pay well. They are always looking for employees. Also the round mountain gold probably highers a lot too. I would call and get everything lined up before actually going down there. Or maybe go for a visit and get situated. I do recommend NOT staying in the clown motel in tonapah. Its dirty, the beds are hard and I have had horrible experiences with hair in every bed I have ever stayed in there, roughly 10-12 times.
