Territory Centennial

Why doesnt the US set the example?
The United States have many territories… one of them Puerto Rico! where the U.S. President, U.S. Congress, U.S. Supreme Court. U.S. Department of State, etc… are their leaders… yet Puerto Ricans CANNOT vote for them…. The United States promotes democracy around the World yet is not able to apply their own rules inside their house! When will this centennial issue be solved? is this really necessary? even Iraqis can now vote for their own leaders… is it really a democracy in Puerto Rico? they only have 1 representation in congress and this person CANNOT even vote! how can you explain this?
After 100 years is not an issue of puerto ricans not deciding… is an issue of the UNITED STATES DOING WHAT IS RIGHT! Did they ask the Iraqis before they went to war?
Puerto Rico is an Territory. They have yet to decide if they want to be a state or not. Until then they run themselves, with full funding and support of the 50 states. Guam is also a Territory, as is Washington, DC, and a few other places. But, until those places can vote to ratify their entrance, they are not full States. I, personally, would like to see the States of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and Guam.
