Where can I find details (rarity/value/history) about French Jetons from 1600s & 1700s?

Jetons are tokens used for counting and tallying there are the size of coins come in several metal, I’like to find out more about them.

Coin collectors haven’t been making much news lately. I’d say that your best bet is a specific web search. Or find a big club or sale, and ask someone that knows.

Wikipedia and other sites like factmonster.com work also.
