What’s the different between state tax and federal tax?
I lived in California and worked in California in 2007 only. I just got my w-2, what do i apply for? State tax or Federal tax? where i find information on my state tax on my w-2?
You pay both. Your W-2 has a state tax withholding box and a federal tax withholding box.
