Doesn’t the Constitution in Article 1 state that Congress will coin money?
So – the Federal Reserve is illegal
How many times do I have to answer this question?
The Federal Reserve does NOT coin money. The US Mint (coins) and the US Bureau of Engraving and Printing (notes) are divisions of the US Treasury Department. The Federal Reserve is an “independent” agency (a bank, if you will) which controls the money supply.
