My Travelling With An Used Camping Trailers
It never occurred to me that I will purchase a very old camping trailer. However, I was fortunate enough to get a very good bargain. The interior of the trailer was a big mess but the exterior was in very good condition. The upholstery was torn and in rags. Not only that, some parts of the metal was rusted and it had to be cut so that another metal sheet can be welded to it.
People travel around their state or country in a camping trailer for a great comping holidays. It had enough space for me and my friends. The only disadvantage of this trailer is that a lot of fuel will be burnt up while traveling. However, we were happy that the used camping trailer was good enough and we were going to enjoy a very wonderful vacation.
During the summer, we fixed the cooking kitchen and some beds were fabricated onto the trailer. Also, we cut out the rusted metal parts and welded a new metal sheet. We were very excited when we finished the work on the trailer because it was looking very good.
We all agreed to go to Canada but I did not like the idea of going to Canada with the trailer. It was winter and it was going to be very cold. Based on this, we agreed to traveling southwards to Charleston, a city in South Carolina. We did not have any problems with our camping trailer.
Moreover, I enjoyed the driving because I thought it would be more difficult considering the weight of the trailer. However, I had some problems while driving through the Appalachian geographical region but everything went back to normal within a few minutes. While I drove, we sang good old song that made us to reminisce about the good old days.
We noticed that we had some suspension problems when we arrived. I had some experience in the repairs of heavy duty vehicles and so I decided to fix the suspension problem.
We got our food from the used camping trailer and settled down to eat our food as we were already yawning. The meal was very delicious. It was fried chicken, chips and tomato sauce. We also helped our selves to some bread. While we were eating I asked my friends that we will have to save some food for the next few days as I did not want a situation where we would be starving. They agreed to my suggested through mouths that were stuffed with food.
