Jaguar Cichlid Tankmates?
i just bought a new 125 gallon aquarium about 1 month ago and now have a 4.5 inch african tigerfish, 4 inch indo datnoid, 5 inch ornate bichir, 3 inch red oscar, two 3 inch peacock bass, 4 inch red bellied pacu, 6 inch silver arowana, and my old 13 inch pleco. i wanted to add a jaguar cichlid because i used to have one a while back that was about 12 inches and he was beautiful but i had to sell him because i was moving to a new house at that time. would these fish be good tank mates for a 2 inch jaguar cichlid. PS. my buddy has a 1200 gallon aquarium that he used to use that he is gonna sell me when the fish outgrow the tank.
Wow. Move to that 1200 gallon aquarium ASAP. That 125 will not hold all those fish, not even right now. Not ever! I usually go with the flow in comments, but you need to move these fish. Right now they might be ok, but you will wake up one morning and one of those fish will pick the others off before you can save them. I am telling you this as help, please don’t be mad. If you move to the 1200, the jaguar will be great. You can even possibly get a mating pair. I’d let him grow out in the 120 tho, or he will be lunch.
