Why is the Iran/Persian language still called farsi?

Shouldn’t it be parsi? Wasn’t that the original name? Didn’t the arabs change the name of language to farsi because they do not have “p” in their alphabet when they attacked the Sassanian empire in 7 A.C?
Why are we still calling it farsi when it is orginally suppose to be parsi?

The Arabs took away so many parts of our culture and language, and replaced them with their own. Changing “Parsi” to “Farsi” is just one change among so many. It takes time to change everything back to it’s original form.
