Roman Uncleaned

how do I clean uncleaned roman bronze coins?

I know you not suppose to clean your old coins, but Bronze coins are generally not valuable. Ive researched different tips from individuals, any were from hot water and a brass brush to soaking in olive oil. Any old coin collector got any advise.

I definitely would not use an acid like lemon juice or most soaps. Olive oil or acetone might work pretty well.
