Revolution Medal
I am a Cadet In Army JROTC and I was wondering…?
I earned the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution medal my LET 1 year in Army Junior ROTC from Lt. Col. Mike Cobert right before he retired. So since I already have the NSDAR Medal at the High School level of ROTC am I still qualified to get the college level NSDAR Medal when I go to a university or college. Also how do they elect cadets for this medal??? Please Help me out my fellow Army JROTC/ ROTC members. I am in Trojan Battalion 4th Brigade Charlie Company and I am a Platoon Sergeant with the rank of Cadet Sergeant First Class and am in my LET 4 semester of Leadership Education and Training.
J.R.O.T.C and R.O.T.C differ a lot. For one, the awards you receive in JROTC will not transfer over to rotc. Sorry. As a former decorated cadet in JROTC all i can say is do not worry much. You will earn your keep in the new program.
