Old Russian

i have old russian money about 15 thousand and when i go to the exhchange places they tell me its old?

on the 5 thousand bill it says 1995 and the 10. thousand is from 1993 what can i do with this money?

I am truly sorry to bring you bad news: IF it was normal Russian currency, 15,000 Russian rubles would be equal about $458 dollars. However the Rubble collapsed in 1998 and a new Ruble was issued. You can save it for historical interest or sell it on Ebay for a few pennies but’s its not worth much as “money.” You might donate it to a University or college who like to archive such things for history sake, but it’s basically worthless as currency.
