Holidays On A Shoestring: Wales
With the recession still biting us hard, nipping our spending in the bud is very much at the forefront of our minds. Luxuries are the first things to go out the window and cutting down on nights out, expensive toiletries and vacations are simple methods to slash expenditure. There is no need to live in complete poverty however, treats are still attainable and a clever mix of spending and saving can make life’s small pleasures realistic options at bargain prices. Take holidays as an illustration, many of us perceive a holiday as a foreign jaunt to an far-away sunny destination where the main activity is, well not much! Lying on beach catching some rays is the order of the day, punctuated with meals out and the (not so) occasional cocktail!
A much thriftier option would be a holiday in the UK. A much cheaper option would be a vacation within the boarders of our fair isles, short breaks in Wales Wales is a picturesque country in its own right, isolated enough to feel as though you are ‘getting away from it all’ while having a close proximity to major UK transport links making it accessible and cheap to get to. Wales is a beautiful and varied country in its own right, isolated enough to feel as though you are ‘getting away from it all’ while having a close proximity to major UK transport links making it accessible and cheap to get to. Holiday cottages in Wales provide a peaceful haven for couples and families to relax and base from which to explore the rugged terrain and myriad activities on offer.
Varity really is Wale’s middle name, it offers everything from vibrant, modern city breaks in Cardiff and Swansea, rural getaways in the west of the country, and extreme sports or activity breaks in mid Wales. This means there is something for everyone, perhaps one of the reasons why Holidays in Wales are really taking off at the moment. Think outside the box, do something out of the ordinary, and get some fresh air in your lungs, visit Wales today!
