What was the trade skill / armor smith area called in medieval times?

Was there a general description name for this part of town? I think it was separate from the merchant area. It was where the blacksmith etc was located. Thanks so much!

The person who fashioned the armour and the arrows was called an armourer.

I don;t think there was a specific name for the part of town – everyone knew where this guy was.
