Are the precious metals edible?
What I mean is Gold, Silver, Bronze and Iron. Are they edible?
As in could a person LITERALLY take a gold, silver, bronze or iron bars, shave a little bit down till it becomes fine dust. Then add incredibly small amounts of the gold, silver, bronze and iron dust into their food on a regular basis? Small amounts as in like 1/8 of a teaspoon in a month.
Would this be harmful? Would it be beneficial? Is it even possible? Why did ancients and medieval people call eating utensils SILVER WARE?
I’ve been hearing about gold dust/chips being ordered in restaurants. Iron in iron tools is literally the same as the iron in our blood, edible bronze and colloidal silver.
These weird things I’m hearing about are what got me thinking about whether these metals are edible or not.

Gold and silver are precious metals, the other two you listed are not.
Yes, you can eat foil wrapped food, it’s done in some posh restaurants. Kellogs add iron fillings to their cereals to fortify them, silver and other stuff is likely to give you heavy metal poisoning.
I don’t know where Winston got his stuff from. Silverware is only called that in the US in the rest of the world it’s called cutlery. Yes, it is called ‘silverware’ because the posh stuff is actually made of silver nothing mystical or anything else about it – it’s called “making stuff up” based on misinformation on the interwebs.
