Can I get into Tufts, UNC, Brown, Vassar, Amherst, Johns Hopkins, or Lehigh?
my stats are:
- On the varsity soccer team since sophomore year
- GPA 3.75 (unweighted) 4.4 (weighted)
- SAT score of 2100- planning to take another one.
- volunteer at the hospital and library, member of student council/ VP of my class, in three major clubs (including future business leaders of America and Cancer Awareness Society)
- Planning to take mini course at Brown University over the summer
- Also in numerous minor clubs.
- Play on club soccer team ranked 20th in the nation.
- ranked 20th out of 700 in class.
- took mostly honors/ AP classes, although in freshman year only took one honors class (honors lab bio)
- Attended regularly and volunteered at my synagogue (Jewish temple) for 6 years.
- Got gold medal in Russian Speaking competition.

- I am white with Russian as my second language and a Jewish- Russian background, and upper- middle class.
Money isn’t an issue.

Look at schools based on your unweighted GPA. Your school seems to weight more heavily than average, so your weighted GPA is misleading.
You have a decent chance at all of them. Brown, Amherst, Tufts, and Hopkins are reaches. Lehigh is the closest thing to a safety school you have. You need to add less competitive school because no one can predict where you will get in.
Mid-range schools (average stats similar to yours) for you to consider: Sarah Lawerence, Fordham, Boston University, Davidson, Villanova, American, Haverford, Fairfield
Safety schools (average GPA 3.5 or less): Loyola Maryland, Temple, Providence, Marist, Northeastern
