- American Football – of course, been around since the 1800’s.
- Baseball – Let’s put it this way, the only competition to have a world series where only America takes part.
- Basketball – over 300 million people play world wide and America started the NBA.
- Hockey – American s love this sport, never a boring or dull moment, explains America beautifully.
- Golf – Always considered a posh mans sport, and it is, except Tiger Woods really set it off for everyone.
- Wrestling – Gets massive viewings, but some still don’t think it is a sport.
- Tennis – Not really an American Past Time, but definitely a well respected sport.
- Skateboarding – This really kicked off in America, spreading to the whole world.
- Surfing – Well, America helped this sport to make its mark.
- Ice Skating – This has been a major sport in America, although it is often overlooked.
- Boxing – will never be as popular as baseball, but when the big fights happen, there are not enough TVs for viewers.
- Soccer- Although no where near as big as American Football, still a growing sport.
- Archery – you cannot deny this a position in the table, in the Olympics the Americans rule.
- Volleyball – Definitely, who ever thought this up knew exactly what they were doing.
- Cycling – Has been in the sport world for a while now, and has taken off, but not as much as others.
- Track and Field – This is the Americans passion at the Olympics, they are by far the best at the Track and Field.
- Horse Racing – This is never going to be a dying sport, as long as we have horses we will be racing them.
- Rock Climbing – You Gotta love some Rock Climbing, always good fun.
- Extreme Sports – This is where any sport that has a one hundred percent risk of injury is involved.
- Auto Racing – I know this is at the bottom, but there is room for maneuverability, it has too many aspects.
