Lincoln Bronze

Could anyone tell me what kind of coin I have?

This is a bronze coin about the size of a penny. On one side it has a picture of James A. Garfield and on the other I think is a picture of Abraham Lincoln. It does not have any writting on it, nor does it have a date? Can anyone help tell me what kind of coin I have?

If all it has are those two portraits, I’m guessing it isn’t exactly a coin, but some sort of medal — could be a campaign token for Garfield, who was a Republican, like Lincoln, and was elected in 1880. His campaign would probably have wanted the voters to associate them. Sadly, both were assasinated in office. Maybe a memorial to them both? Strange it has no other markings — anything around the edge?
