Great Adventure

Are New York holidays all they are cracked up to be?

Thanks to a lot of its unique features New York has played some vital parts in films. It is a place for us all to visit and admire. Visiting New York should be top of your priority list for your next holiday. This is well worth the flight and the hotel prices have fallen dramatically.

Recently holiday prices have been falling and New York has been receiving even more visitors from outside the United States. The Statue stands over ninety three metres tall including the pedestal, and weighs an impressive 204.1 tonnes. A thick copper sheet is the robe of this marvelous lady, her Framework is completely made of steel, in similar likeness to the Eiffel Towers. Since September 11 you have not been able to climb up to the top, but you can still go into the rectangular pedestal.

The Empire State Building, one hundred and three stories tall. This Art Deco Skyscraper was the tallest building in the world for forty years but is now surpassed by many others, the tallest being the Burj Dubai. This shows how amazing this building is, the fact that it could stay standing after being hit by a war plan in 1945. If you really want to see something amazing, then stand at the bottom of this huge skyscraper, then travel to the top for another great view.

There are many national Parks in New York including thousands of acres of Gateway National Recreation Area. The park areas inside New York City’s boundaries are quite stunning considering they are surrounded by one of the most populated cities in the USA. There are a large number of entertainments and performing arts museums to visit including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and he Lincoln Centre for the Performing Arts. New York holidays have benefited much from all of the establishments that have been provided.

If you have considered going elsewhere like, Las Vegas holidays or have even contemplated Vegas weddings, you should still consider New York as a prime holiday experience.

Ray (Widescreen Edition)

Ray (Widescreen Edition)

Despite a few dramatic embellishments of actual incidents (such as the suggestion that the accidental dr…

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (Walt Disney’s Masterpiece) [VHS]

$12.02

Disney’s 1977 The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh may be the last word on (animated) Pooh because it so faithfully honors the first word on Pooh, penned in the 1920s by British storyteller A.A. The film is essentially a…
