The BS everybody appears to be trying to pull about Katrina wiping out all of the area around New Orleans is nothing but a load, of Crud.
The West Bank was not flooded, and in fact, never saw a drop of rain during the hurricane.
The only problem they had was a power-outage, for 2 days. I lived in Westwego, LA, on the West Bank, 7 miles from New Orleans, on Victory Dr., and my neighbor, and I are in contact always, even now.
Don’t let anyone lie to you.
Many parts of the area around New Orleans don’t have any damage, and never did.
Your tokens are fun collectables, and that is all.
They’re a nice keep-sake to pass down to your children, but not worth money.
New Orleans will go on, as it always has, hurricane or no, and there will always be more Mardi Gras trinkets to gain, NEW, every year!
Do people REALLY believe LA is in trembles?
They’re wrong, no matter the pity-party they want to play.
Katrina was not, and never will be the worst hurricane to hit Louisiana, and it definately won’t be the last!
