and history proves it to be unsustainable just like the Roman Empire. With nothing to base the money on it becomes to easy to print more and send the children the bill. Where does the profit all come from when the money is all at the top.
We were taken off of the gold standard because all other nations were already off of the gold standard. When immigrants came to America they changed their currency into U.S dollars and then in turn changed American money into gold and moved back to their respective country; we had to get off of the gold standard because if we didn’t all of our gold would flow to other countries.
