Gallienus Rome

Christian historians. Did you know it was Gallienus, not Constantine, that legalized Christianity in Rome?
For those who care about these things or find them interesting….
I had always assumed it was Constantine who passed the Religious tolerance act in part to add a base to his power. However, it was Gallienus in 261. It was a move to encourage Roman intellectuals, who imbraced different religious movements and to help him maintain his throne.
