Fantasy Gold
In Final Fantasy 7,are there any ESSENTIAL or VERY GOOD items in the Gold Saucer?
Basically, I am at the Gold saucer and i was wondering if there are any GREAT items like Materia that I should get. I dont know if I should leave and continue with the game or what. Please help me out
If you get over 5,000 points on the rollercoaster shooting game you get Aeris’ most physically powerful weapon (disc 1) or a weapon for Cid if you’re on disc 2.
Then of course there is the Battle Square. It’s a tough game until you get things like Ribbon (much later) but you can reap some nice rewards from it. First you need GP, and a fair chunk of it too as once you leave the square you lose all BP earned, which will annoy you. The prizes on disc 1 change once, but it works in your favour. Basically, after breaking out of the prison, you should aim to get the Fury Ring but after that leave. When you come back later to look for the keystone, you’ll see the same prizes are available (not the fury ring, hence why you should get it first time) but require a lot less BP (except Omnislash, which remains the same). You can eventually get the materia/items available but things such as pre-emptive and speed plus are useful to have early on.
