Cents Token

Would this be a good way to keep proper “configuration” of a computerized system ?
Programmers write source code for the system.
For each line of code the programmer is paid a bonus, token amount, a fraction of a cent.
An exact record is kept of all the payments.
Each payment has encrypted in it the exact source code that the payment is for.
Each line of code has say a maximum of 1024 bits of info.
This is encrypted as a decimal amount to an arbitrary number of decimal places.
Exact records are kept.
So the paymaster in the organization actually keeps a record of all the source code, reconstructible from the fraction of a cent payments.
- All that would do is increase volume of code, not contribute to “proper” or “configuration”
In fact, by itself, this system would damage code quality and configuration
