Farmville Coins and Cash

There are two basic kinds of money in Farmville: Coins and Farm Cash. Farm Cash is a rare type of currency. You can acquire unique items if they have this type of money. A unique item named the Flying Saucer was only purchasable with Farm Cash during the Alien Invasion in Farmville. Other unique objects and buildings are costly and comple you to buy more or save up your Farm Cash.

You can add both Farm Coins and Farm Cash to your Farmville account, however, it will cost you real cash through your credit card or Paypal. Currently, Visa, Mastercard and American Express are all accepted. I recommend that you spend your real money on Farm Cash instead of using it on Farm Coins. Coins are relatively easy to obtain than Farm Cash.

Coins

Farm coins are the basic currency that you will deal with most of the time. You use Farm Coins when you plow, plant and purchase some items for your farm. Your harvests are all in coins; when you get milk from a cow, you get coins directly into your account balance at the top left of your screen. It is the same for trees; whenever you harvest a peach tree, you don’t receive peaches, you receive coins. Keeping an eye on your account balance will help you in choosing what crops to grow. Sometimes you have to decide between growing a whole field of a cheap crop or growing only a few squares of a pricey crop. To determine which specific crop is giving you the mostprofit for the least cost, keep your calculator close by.

Farm Cash

Farm cash is added on your account at the rate of 1 a day, so DON’T SPEND YOUR FARM CASH ON ANYTHING YOU CAN BUY WITH COINS!!! . Seriously, don’t give in to the impulse. There are special buildings, special farmville animals during events, fuel for your vehicles—tons of things that you can only buy with Farm cash. Spend your Farm Cash if you are absolutely sure that you want an item!!!  Only spend your Farm Cash for unique objects during special ocassions which will help collect more special items. Unique animals such as the Baby Turkey during the American Thanksgiving (though there is a Wild Turkey available as a lost animal during this event) and decorations only available during that event are examples of wise purchases. Remember, it’s your own farm so it should show your unique personality.

If ever you will purchase vehicles such as a tractor or seeder, be ready to handle the price of fuel. For your vehicle to function, it needs fuel. Or else it will simply be a pricey ornament. You need to consider using your real cash to buy Farm Cash if you are building a large farm with several vehicles.
