Philly area fast money ideas? To move into a new apartment and car?

I went to look at new apartment yesterday, and I told the owner that my lease was up on Oct. 15 (I’m on month-to-month tho) to buy some time to save the $1400 deposit. She said she couldn’t hold it until Oct. and wants the deposit by next week, and move-in by Sept. 15th. I really don’t want to tell her we don’t want it because it is in the “safest” part of my city, and it has a lot more space. It’s a perfect apartment for us, so please give me some suggestions on how to save $. My check and my bf comes on Thursdays, so we will get 3 checks by the time we have to pay her, but we probably will have barely $800 (after we pay bills and get bus tokens for me). I am depending on getting our deposit ($495) from my landlord to add, but I am not sure if we are guaranteed to get it and since we are only giving my current landlord 2 wks notice instead of 4, will he try to keep it? Please help! I am looking at being short $100-$700 on top of $750-$1000 for a car-that’s how high they sell 4 here).

Realiity check – you can’t afford it. If you landlord won’t do instaollments for the deposit, find somewhere else.
