What would be some good Geocaching ideas for a Boy Scout summer camp?
I am going to be the Scout Skills director of the best boy scouting camp in Texas and would greatly appreciate some help. Geocaching is one of the new merit badges in the BSA.
The help I am looking for is what would i use for geocaching containers? Also, what should i put in the containers?
Also I should have 20 – 30 boys in a class for every week for 8 weeks. So about 200 boys over the whole summer.

I set up a geocaching treasure hunt with my neices and nephews. It was both a combination of geocaching, finding clues, to find the next clue, etc. I had a theme of boats, planes and trains.
The first clue directed them to a cache I planted near a boat doc. It held a clue telling them they needed to find a nearby train station and look for a sign that contained numbers, to send them to their next location. When they found the numbers and plugged them into the clue, it was a phone number. They called the phone number and listened to a voice mail for the next clue, which gave them the coordinates for the final cache near an airport, where they could watch the planes take off and land.
The last cache was a treasure chest container that I filled with small toys. I hid it in the bushes in a field by the airport.
