My Look At The Latest System For Getting A Great, Fake Sun Tan
In this article I’m going to tell you what you can expect when you try the Luminess Tan airbrush system.
Where did I first hear about the Luminess Air System?
I came across the Luminess Tan system whilst visiting a show in London – it wasn’t long before I had my hands on one and was able to see if I could get the results I’d seen others achieve.
This newest entrant into the self-tanning arena is causing quite a stir. The excitement has been caused by the development of this fairly insignificant looking airbrush which is used to spray on the tan.
If you decide to try the Luminess system you’ll receive much more than a bottle of tanning solution. Everything you need to get started is included in the package – the full airbrush system along with all the instructions and some solution to be getting on with. Nearly all you need is included, except the experience gained through practice.
As you may have read elsewhere – a bit of rehearsing or practicing with the spraying system will help you get the look you’re craving. With a bit of time and effort you will soon gain enough skill to use the airbrush properly. It could be worth practising with a solution other than the supplied tan – maybe water with some colouring. I have found that this early rehearsing has made me much more competent at giving myself the tan I want.
You might like to get a friend involved – its much more fun to practice on each other – a bit of a laugh and you can judge each other’s spraying as well as pointing out any bits they’ve missed.
Whn you’ve completed your short training program you will be able to achieve professional looking results. One of the great things about Luminess Tan is that it includes pigments in the solution so you can see what your results are going to look like while you’re applying the product. An even flawless finish is much easier to achieve when you have no excuse for missing bits or spraying over the same areas more than once.
After letting the tan take hold, maybe four or five hours, you can jump into the shower and wash away the remains of the colour pigment – if you go to bed first you’ll find most of it on your bed covers when you wake! These colours are only there to aise in the application of the solution. Be patient, a tan isn’t instantaneous – you’ll have to sit around for a few hours to see the results. Just like when you color your hair – you have to wait a half hour or so for the color to develop.
For some people nothing but a real sun tan will surfice – for that you’re back to sunscreen and the risks of UV exposure. To use the airbrush you will need to get the hang of it befor you get anything like a realistic tan. But after you do, you’ll have a beautiful golden tan that looks just like it was applied by a professional makeup artist.
