Are there any pre-compiled game installers for Linux (Xubuntu 8.10)?
I need a pre-compiled Windows game installer for Xubuntu 8.10 (Ubuntu based) Linux so I can keep my Windows games, like Tomb Raider Anniversary and Underworld, Halo: Custom Edition, Medal of Honor: Airborne, Pacific Assault and Allied Assault, Diablo, Diablo II and expansion. Is it possible to play those games on linux? If so, what program do I use? Preferably pre-compiled.
Thanks, but are there any emulators that I can download to a flash drive and put them on my PC? My linux computer is not my primary computer.
Use Wine or Cedega(version of wine that is better at gaming)
They are both precompiled, just install(wine should be under add/remove programs for Ubuntu)
Once installed, just double click the install file for the games you want. I know diablo 1 and 2 work, haven’t tried the others.
