Alaska Statehood

Is there a path to statehood for Iraq . Alaska and Hawaii are not connected?
If they want to become the 51st state we should let them .
WE should encourage it .
Then our defense contractors can locate plants to build weapons right in the middle east . Easy delivery of older inferior weapons systems and sales would rocket through the roof .
With defense contractors selling hundreds of billions of arms around the globe it only makes sense to locate some plants In a place like Iraq .
Just think of an eager workforce who loves to build weapons happily reporting to work . With 55% Iraqi’s out of a job this would be a boom to the economy .
Why let Russia and China have all the fun arming the world and make all that money when we could . A sales and service center in the heart of all the action .
The Constitution tells you how to establish a state. I recommend it.

Fighting for the Forty-Ninth Star: C. W. Snedden and the Crusade for Alaska Statehood $18.80 When Alaskans in the 1950s demanded an end to “second-class citizenship” of territorial status, southern powerbrokers on Capitol Hill were the primary obstacles. They feared a forty-ninth state would tip the balance of power against segregation, and therefore keeping Alaska out of the Union was simply another means of keeping black children out of white schools.C.W. “Bill” Snedden, the publisher o… |
